Villas in Gialova
The tranquil village of Gialova is set on Navarino Bay, in the south-western area of the Peloponnese and offers a small, coastal village, which has truly kept its Greek ambience. The “Golden beach” (as the locals call it) stretches for nearly 2 kilometres from the village to the Old Navarino Castle in the west which dates back to the 13th century and is in fact a natural ecological site of natural beauty.
The beach is flanked by a selection of olive and tamarisk so offering plenty of shade and in the village there is an array of tavernas and kafenions to choose from – many line the beach itself offering super views.
The village and beach is all about “quiet and relaxation” however if you are seeing a little activity each day there is enough to keep you busy; from climbing up to Nestors Palace for awe inspiring views of Voldomati Bay (well worth a visit!) or visit Pylos with its ancient castle.
