On the rugged northern coast of Menorca, 12 miles from the capital of Mahon, lies one of the island’s many gems. The soft golden sand is the main attraction here and opportunities to relax for mum and dad. Colourful parasols paint a rainbow across the bay in the summer months as families seek a little shade in the warm Menorca sun. The shore is shallow which gives children plenty of opportunities to paddle and play in the warm waters. The enclosed nature of the bay also makes water sports popular on a cheap holiday in Arenal D’en Castell.
