This traditional Captain's House dates back to 1693 and has been beautifully restored and furnished, creating the perfect villa for your holiday in Lindos. Ornate archways beautifully carved in local stone, stained glass windows, beamed ceilings and cobbled courtyard adorned with bougainvillea and hibiscus make these idyllic surroundings.

In a central location and just minutes walk from all amenities and less than 10 minutes to any of the beaches, put this villa high on your holiday wish list!

PROPERTY INFORMATION Top Back to the top of page

As you approach the outside of the house through the maze of narrow white washed and stone houses you will come across two large wooden doors which open up into your private enclave. The cobbled courtyard looks magnificent with the beautiful pink and red Bougainvillea to the right and then the selection of flowering plants decorated throughout the house. Polixeni, the friendly owner, will look after you during your stay and give you a very warm welcome.

On the ground level as you enter to the left is the kitchen, full bathroom and a twin bedroom; adjacent to this you will come to the main part of the courtyard with a grand stone and marble table and chairs for those al fresco meals. The main “sala room” is at the far in end of the courtyard and you enter to a living area with table and chairs, a grand raised Lindian style bed and a hand painted ceiling. The third bedroom is located via a stone staircase and features an ensuite WC; from here you have lovely roof top vistas and the Acropolis standing proud beyond.

A very popular house to enjoy a relaxed vacation yet close to so many amenities in Lindos. Book early!
